Serious Note:

Modifying the registry can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your Windows. Use this information provided at your own risk.

To add more time synchronization servers, find this registry key below.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DateTime\Servers]

Add these other “strings” into that registry location.
Backup your registry and be careful not to input bad data values, check your work when done is my motto.

How to reset Tcp/IP manually when Winsock registry is Corrupted!

When you think that the computer LAN connection has limited Connectivity or not able to access any internet caused by Virus infection on LSP ( Layered Service Provider)

Method 1: Using Netsh Command

Start, Run, Type netsh winsock reset

& Enter.

Then reboot the computer.

Then, check the internet connection.


If the method 1 is not working, then try method 2.

Method 2: Manually Delete and reinstall TCP/IP

Step 1: Delete the corrupted registry keys

Warning : Before you delete registry Entries or keys, please export or backup.

1.	Click Start, and then click Run.
2.	In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
3.	In Registry Editor, locate the following keys, right-click each key, and then click Delete: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Winsock2
4.	When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click Yes.

Note Restart the computer after you delete the Winsock keys. Doing so causes the Windows XP operating system to create new shell entries for those two keys. If you do not restart the computer after you delete the Winsock keys, the next step does not work correctly.

Step 2: Install TCP/IP (On Folder option, Check Show hidden files and folders on View

1.	Right-click the network connection, and then click Properties.
2.	Click Install.
3.	Click Protocol, and then click Add.
4.	Click Have Disk.
5.	Type C:\Windows\inf, and then click OK.
6.	On the list of available protocols, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click OK. If Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) does not appear, follow these steps: a. Click Start, and then click Search. b. In the Search Companion pane, click More advanced options. c. Click to select the following three check boxes: • Search system folders • Search hidden files and folders • Search subfolders d. In the All or part of the file name box, type nettcpip.inf, and then click Search. e. In the results pane, right-click Nettcpip.inf, and then click Install.
7.	Restart the computer.

How to Connect 2 Wireless Routers as Wirelessly

Hello Everyone,

Today, I have an interesting topic to share with you guys.
It is How to Connect between 2 Wireless routers (or more) as wirelessly to extend the existing Wi-Fi network. It is a really sweet solution for a certain company who wants to have strong wireless connection and wired switches in a large sharing space between their host PCs, and who is not possible to have any further installation of CAT5e Connection on the wall due to their limited expenses.

(You may say how about just using the Wi-Fi expander???) - it may help some different issues but not enough solution sometimes.

The above solution for the topic is really possible but there are some limitation unfortunately.

1. You have to use "Linksys WRT54G" router family only.
2. You have to obtain and to upgrade "Open Source (hacked) Firmware for the routers . Due to Original Firmware doesn't have the required function(is called WDS(Wireless Distribution Serivce) to setup what we want. ) - It might be illegal, so be careful!!!

Once these two requirements are satisfied, you are ready to go to fun.

How to Setup?

1. You have to obtain the hacked firmware first and apply on to all WRT54G wireless routers.
2. The routers must have in the same subnet range and in the same wireless channel.
3. Setup AP1 with main gateway for your ISP Connection and DHCP on.
4. Setup SSID and no Encryption (it will be done after WDS connection verified)
5. Setup AP2 (and other APs) with DHCP off.
6. SSID setup could be different name and check Wireless MAC Address.
7. Setup each AP's IP Address diffferent from AP1 but the Gateway is the same as AP1.
8. On AP1, Put the AP2 (or all other APs) MAC Address on WDS settings with each AP's SSID.
9. On Ap2( or all other APs), put only main AP1's MAC Address on WDS settings with AP1's SSID.
10. Setup the Encryption after verifying WDS connection between all Wireless APs.

Then, enjoy your Wi-fi extention.

To import your Outlook address book to your BlackBerry Internet Service address book, complete the following:
· First, export the Outlook Address Book to a CSV File
1. In Outlook, from the File menu, select Import and Export.The Import and Export Wizard is displayed.
2. Select Export to a file, then click Next.
3. Select Comma Separated Values (Windows), then click Next.If a message window appears asking you to install the Import/Export engine, you might need the Microsoft Office CD to complete this task.
4. In the Export to a File window, select the Contacts folder that contains your address book.
5. Click Next, then click Browse.
6. In the Browse window, choose a location where you want to save the CSV file.
7. In the File name field, type a file name with a .csv extension, then click OK.
8. Click Next > Finished.The CSV file is created.
· Once you’ve completed the preceding steps, import the CSV File into BlackBerry Internet Service.
1. Connect to the BlackBerry Internet Service web site and log in to your BlackBerry account.
2. Click the Address Book link.
3. On the navigation bar, click Import.
4. Click Browse.
5. In the Choose File window, browse to the location where you saved the CSV file.
6. Select the CSV file and click Open.
7. Click Add.Your Outlook address book contacts appear in your BlackBerry Internet Service address book.

How to Convert the Address Book

Outlook Express expects to find a 4.0x version of the Netscape Address Book when doing the conversion. However, Outlook Express can import an Address Book exported from Netscape Messenger in the LDIF format. To do this:

1.	In Netscape Communicator, on the Communicator menu, click Address Book.
2.	In Address Book, click Export on the File menu.
3.	In Export As, type a name for the exported file.
4.	In the Save As Type box, click LDIF(*.ldif). Select a destination for the file, and then click Save.
5.	Close Netscape Messenger and Communicator.

How to Import Messages and Addresses to Outlook Express

Use the following methods to convert from Netscape Messenger to Outlook.

Address Conversion

1.	In Outlook Express, on the File menu, click Import, and then click Other Address Book.
2.	In the Address Book Import Tool box, click LDIF - LDAP Date Interchange Format, and then click Import.
3.	Click OK when you receive the Address Book import process has completed prompt.

Mail Conversion

Use one of the following methods to convert messages in Outlook Express.

Method 1

1.	On the File menu, click Import and Export.
2.	On the Choose an action to perform box, click Internet Mail and Addresses, and then click Next.
3.	In the Select the Internet Mail program to import from box, click Netscape Messenger 4.0x, click Import Mail, and then click Next. The following message appears: Found no registry entry for Netscape Messenger 4.0x. Please select the mail folder for this application
4.	Locate the Netscape folder. The following is the default path C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\ where is the profile that you created when you configured Netscape.
5.	Click the folder that corresponds to the profile name, and then click OK.

Messages are imported to the Outlook message store.

Method 2

1.	In Outlook Express, on the File menu, click Import, and then click Messages.
2.	In the Outlook Express Import Select Program box, click Netscape Communicator, and then click Next.
3.	In Location of Messages, click Browse, to navigate to the Mail folder where Messenger stores messages. The following is the typical path C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\\Mail where is the name of the Netscape profile to be imported.
4.	Click the Mail folder, click OK, and then click Next.
5.	In Select Folders, click to select All Folders, or click Selected Folders, and then click the individual folders to import. You can use the CTRL key to select multiple folders. Click Next.
6.	After the message conversion is completed, click Finish, and then quit Outlook Express.

How to Convert Messages and Addresses from Outlook Express to Outlook

1.	In Outlook, on the File menu, click Import and Export.
2.	In the Import and Export Wizard, click Import Internet Mail and Addresses, and then click Next.
3.	In Select the Internet Mail application to import from, click to select Outlook Express 4.x, 5. Verify that Import Mail and Import Addresses are selected. Because Outlook Express does not import Netscape Messenger rules, this option can be ignored for the Outlook conversion. Click Next.
4.	In Select a destination for Imported Addresses, click Outlook Contacts Folder, and then click Finish.

NOTE: If you are using a Personal Address Book (PAB) in the Corporate or Workgroup (CW) installation of Outlook, you may want to select this address book.

In addition, you should select the option regarding duplicate items if they are currently addressed in the Outlook address provider.

Mail Lists, which existed in Messenger, are converted to Groups in Outlook Express and to personal distribution lists in Outlook Contacts.

How to remove/uninstall Mcafee

Solution
Download and run the McAfee Removal tool
NOTE: Always be sure to uninstall your McAfee product through Add/Remove Programs, first. The following steps should only be taken if uninstalling through Add/Remove Programs has failed.
Download the removal tool from http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe .
-Click Save and save the file to any folder on the computer.
-Navigate to the folder where the file is saved.
-Make sure all McAfee application windows are closed.
-Double-click MCPR.exe and the removal tool will start automatically. Note: Windows Vista ----users must right-click and select Run as Administrator.
-Once the removal tool is finished, you will be prompted to restart your computer. If you choose to restart later, your McAfee product will not be fully removed until you do.
-Wait for the computer to restart. All McAfee products are now removed from your computer.
